Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Tokyo

Arrive in Tokyo, where a private driver will be waiting to escort you to your hotel, an elegant stay chosen for both comfort and convenience. These luxury stays strike the right balance: soothing spaces for parents to unwind, thoughtful amenities for children, and optional services like babysitting for a quiet evening if needed.
Ease into the city with a gentle stroll, an early dinner, or a relaxed introduction to the neighborhood with your guide. It's a soft landing and a warm start to your journey in Japan.
Day 2
Explore Tokyo with a Local Touch

Spend the day exploring Tokyo with your private guide, tailoring the pace and activities to your family’s interests.
Watch sumo wrestlers train, try sushi-making or calligraphy, and wander into quiet corners of the city you’d never find on your own.
End with a dinner that suits everyone, whether it’s a refined multi-course experience or a relaxed favorite known only to locals.
Day 3
Journey to Kyoto

Ride the Shinkansen to Kyoto, a smooth and scenic journey that often becomes a favorite for families. On clear days, you may even catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji from your window.
Arriving in Kyoto, step into a city known for its quiet charm and centuries-old traditions. Stroll through historic districts like Gion, visit a local temple, or stop for handmade sweets along the way.
Check in and unwind at your hotel, where the slower rhythm of Kyoto naturally invites you to settle in.
Day 4
A Taste of Kyoto's Old and New

Continue exploring Kyoto’s highlights, or slow things down with a Zen meditation and time to browse local shops for thoughtful souvenirs.
The city offers a beautiful contrast of past and present from centuries-old temples to stylish boutiques tucked into historic streets.
As evening falls, sit down to a traditional kaiseki meal, where each course reflects the season, or opt for one of Kyoto’s modern Japanese restaurants that blend innovation with familiar flavors.
Day 5
Escape to the Japanese Countryside

Leave the city behind and journey into the slower rhythms of rural Japan. Settle into one of our trusted countryside retreats, such as Zenagi, a fully-catered hideaway known for its seasonal cuisine and peaceful surroundings.
These stays offer a chance to unwind: spacious, quiet, and deeply connected to the local culture. Spend the afternoon relaxing in nature, wandering nearby trails, or simply enjoying the stillness.
Dinner is a highlight. Expect a beautifully prepared feast using seasonal, local ingredients that celebrate the flavors of the region.
Day 6
Explore, Create, and Unwind in Nature

Spend the day immersed in the quiet beauty of rural Japan. Depending on where you're staying, experiences may include a guided tea ceremony, hands-on crafts with local artisans, or a peaceful afternoon canoeing through clear mountain streams.
Whether you're moving or simply taking it slow, there’s space for everyone to enjoy the rhythm of the countryside in their own way.
As night falls, look to the stars far from the city lights, where the sky opens up. End the evening with another thoughtful, locally inspired meal.
Day 7
Final Day - Tokyo & Departure

Travel back to Tokyo on the bullet train, giving you a final glimpse of the countryside as it fades into the cityscape.
There’s time for a last stroll, a quick visit to a favorite shop, or one final bowl of noodles before your private transfer to the airport.
As your journey comes to a close, take with you the stories, moments, and quiet connections that made this trip truly yours.
